Lorenzo Finzi
Lorenzo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Sustainability from the University of Milan (Italy) and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Cooperation and Development.
His path has been shaped by extensive field experience, academic training, and long-term engagement with local communities. A formative early experience in rural Tanzania, where he contributed to the planning and construction of a medical dispensary in the village of Maji Moto at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, marked the beginning of a lasting commitment to community-based development rooted in local contexts.
Over the years, Lorenzo has collaborated with local organizations and communities across multiple countries and sectors, from environmental conservation in Costa Rica to educational initiatives in Nepal and the Philippines. Most recently, he completed an extended field experience in Tanzania’s Singida region, working with Amani Education ODV to support educational development in one of the country’s most marginalized areas.
Alongside his work in international cooperation, Lorenzo has developed a strong interest in storytelling and communication. He is the author of Sotto le vette dell’anima, a self-published book reflecting on human encounters and volunteer experiences.
