Lived Realities

What does life look like, when you stand inside it?

Lived Realities is a collection of moments gathered on the ground, across different countries and contexts, through photography and writing. These are the places we reach through volunteering, collaboration with NGOs, and professional work in international cooperation. What we document is not distant or abstract, but lived, daily realities shaped by work, care, struggle, resilience, and dignity.

This section tells the stories we encounter by being present: listening, observing, and sharing time with people and communities. Stories that invite the viewer to pause, to question what feels near and what feels far. Because is there really a distant life, or are we all part of the same, shared story?

Lived Realities is where the fieldwork takes shape, and where stories ask to be seen, understood, and told with responsibility.

Behind the Change

Who chooses commitment over recognition?

Behind the Change is a space dedicated to the people and organizations who act, often quietly, to shape a more just and connected world. Here we tell the stories of individuals, grassroots initiatives, NGOs, and organizations, small to large, that work every day beyond the spotlight.

This section gives visibility to those who choose commitment over recognition. Here, stories of care, persistence, and collective effort remind us that change is already happening, through people who show up, in small ways and large ones.

Behind the Change gathers positive examples of action and responsibility. Stories that restore trust, spark connection, and show that even when work remains unseen, its impact is real.
